Job Summary
We are recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager on behalf of a well established building services contractor based in Bracknell, Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a close knit team of 30 people that genuinely values and invests in its people.
You will be managing mechanical projects ranging from £500,000 to £2 million across a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, education and commercial environments across London and the South of England.
Responsibilities
- Managing mechanical projects from inception through to handover
- Overseeing site teams and managing subcontractors
- Client liaison and relationship management
- Programme management and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Managing variations and ensuring commercial awareness throughout delivery
- Maintaining health and safety standards across all projects
- Working closely with the wider project and engineering team
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within an MEP or mechanical contractor
- Experience managing projects in the £500,000 to £2 million range
- Strong knowledge of mechanical installations within commercial, healthcare or education environments
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively
- Good understanding of contract administration and project commercials
- SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification desirable
- CSCS card holder
- Commutable to Bracknell, Berkshire — candidates must be based within a reasonable distance
