Job Title: Health Care Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 3:00pm (2 hours per day) (10 hours per week)
Salary: £12.71 - £13.00 Per Hour

Job Overview:
KASE Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistant to support one of our service users living in Southend-on-Sea. This is a part-time role providing daily cover to allow the live-in carer to take a well-deserved break. The service user has dementia and requires supervision, companionship, and light assistance during this time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and engaging companionship for the service user during your shift
- Prepare a light lunch if required
- Escort the service user to a local club or social activity if he wishes to attend
- Ensure the service user remains safe and comfortable throughout the visit
- Follow any relevant care plans or guidance provided by the live-in carer or care team
- Communicate any concerns or changes in condition to the KASE Care team
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting individuals with dementia is desirable
- A kind, patient, and understanding nature
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Excellent communication skills
- A DBS check will be required (or willingness to undergo one)
- Must be punctual and reliable
