Mechanical Fitter / Labourer – Mezzanine Floor & Fencing Dismantling

£15.00 per hour (1.5x for weekends)
Monday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts
Start: Monday 3rd August — 1 week initial duration, with possible extension
About the role
We're looking for a reliable mechanical fitters/labourers to join a site team carrying out minor mechanical works in Coventry, primarily dismantling a mezzanine floor and associated fencing.
Requirements
- Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence – essential
- Scissor lift licence – preferred
- Experience with dismantling/strip-out work
- Own hand tools required: Allen keys, adjustable spanners, nut runner
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week
- Own PPE (or willingness to comply with site PPE requirements)
Pay & Duration
- £15.00 per hour (1.5x for weekends)
- Monday to Sunday, 12-hour days
- 1 week initial contract, extension likely
Reliability is essential — this role is a foot in the door. Workers who show up on time and perform well will be first in line for further work beyond this contract.
