We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to an enjoyable experience for all guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the bar tab system effectively.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices within a restaurant or bar setting.
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
