Part-Time Martial Arts Instructor – St John's Wood
Join our martial arts school as an Assistant Instructor and help shape the next generation of students, while building your own teaching career under an experienced Senior Instructor.
About Us
We're a friendly, welcoming dojo based in St John's Wood, teaching students of all ages — from young children right through to adults.
The Role
As Assistant Instructor, you'll support our Senior Instructor across a range of classes, helping students build skill, confidence, and discipline.
- Assist in teaching classes for children (4+), teenagers, and adults
- Support the Senior Instructor with class structure and student development
- Help create a fun, safe, and motivating training environment
What We're Looking For
- Kickboxing, Taekwondo, or Karate background
- Senior grade level (black belt not essential)
- Confident working with young children as well as older students
- Reliable, friendly, and passionate about martial arts
Full training will be provided, so this is a great opportunity to develop your teaching skills.
Hours
- Monday: 3:30pm – 5:30pm
- Tuesday: 2:30pm – 8:30pm
- Wednesday: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
- Thursday: 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Additional hours available, with the opportunity to move to full-time, permanent employment for the right candidate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour
