Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role is pivotal in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the development of children, ensuring their safety, and promoting their emotional and social growth.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
- Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging children to develop social skills.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
- First Aid desirable (We will offer training )
- Experience of working in a team
Experience
- Proven experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
- A genuine passion for early years education and child development is crucial.
