As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of electrical and mechanical systems at customer sites. You’ll work closely with customers and colleagues to ensure equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably, while delivering a consistently high standard of service.
This is a varied, hands-on role that suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and building positive relationships with customers.
- Working safely and in line with company policies and site rules
- Servicing and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment
- Communicating clearly with customers and contractors throughout service visits
- Participating in an on-call rota with fellow engineers
- Providing technical support, training, and advice to customers
- Accurately documenting service activities
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
- Delivering excellent customer service and building strong working relationships
- Ensuring work areas are left tidy and company vehicles are maintained to a high standard

- Level 3 qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Background in compressed air, commercial service, or a similar engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Practical problem-solving skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Organised with good time management
