Bells is looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to support our restaurant team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in hospitality, or for someone who already has knowledge of food hygiene procedures. We have vacancies at both our Framwellgate and Seaham outlet!
You will play a key role in our kitchen, ensuring that the presentation of our salads and desserts meets our usual high standards. You will also be responsible for preparing our gluten-free product range, so any prior knowledge of allergens would be beneficial.
We are looking for a hard-working and motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Basic food preparation, including preparing salads and desserts
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic working area
- Completing relevant food hygiene paperwork
- Cooking and preparing our gluten-free products
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and motivation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food hygiene procedures (preferred)
- Awareness of allergens and gluten-free preparation (preferred)
