Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading laundry deliveries, ensuring items are handled carefully and securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote a safe working environment.
- Support delivery routes by helping navigate routes, managing paperwork, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to protect yourself and colleagues during operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and drivers to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of laundry processed, deliveries made, and any maintenance or safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling laundry items.
- Good communication skills for working effectively within a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for assisting with deliveries and route support.
