Self-Employed Cleaner – High-End Salon, Clifton, Bristol (£15/hour)
A premium salon in Clifton is looking for a reliable, self-employed cleaner for 1 hour a day, Tuesday to Saturday.
The role: Keeping the salon immaculate and ready to welcome clients each day.
Core priorities (daily, within the hour):
- Hoovering and mopping throughout
- Dusting and tidying
- Wiping mirrors and all salon surfaces
- Bathrooms and general hygiene
- Rubbish and recycling
Additional responsibilities (as time allows / rotating basis):
- Towels (laundering/restocking)
- Small paint touch-ups
- Watering plants
- Cleaning the shopfront and sweeping the pavement
Hours & pay:
- 1 hour per day, 5 days a week.
- Flexible timing outside salon opening hours (salon open Tuesday–Saturday) — early morning or evening, your choice, to have the premises ready for the next day
- £15 per hour (£75/week), invoiced as a self-employed contractor
- All cleaning supplies provided
- Opportunity for additional hours at a nearby location for the right candidate
What we’re looking for:
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in salons, retail or hospitality
- High attention to detail — presentation matters in our space
- Trustworthy, punctual and self-motivated (you’ll work unsupervised with your own access)
- Self-employed status: responsible for your own tax and NI, with your own public liability insurance preferred
- References required
