We are recruiting for the exciting role of Barista, who will support with the running of our busy front of house operations in the Restaurant within our Garden Centre.

Founded in 1871, today Garsons is an award-winning destination Garden Centre, Farm Shop and Restaurant with locations in Esher, Surrey and Titchfield, Hampshire. Garsons Esher is also home to one of the UK's largest pick-your-own farms.
What does the role involve?
You will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and memorable experience for our valued customers. You'll be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks. With your warm personality and exceptional customer service skills, you will build lasting relationships with our guests, turning them into regular patrons.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to customers.
- Clean and maintain the working area during downtime, as needed.
- Ensure that you are always adhering to food safety procedures.
- Cash handling and accurately record customer order information.
- Preparing high quality coffees, teas and beverages.
- Training of new team members on the barista section.
- Maintaining knowledge of all our beverages.
- Following recipes for all beverages sold.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Previous experience as a Barista.
- Hands-on experience with commercial coffee machines.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible working pattern.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant training certificates or diplomas is desirable but not essential.
Contract: This is a permanent role.
Salary: From £12.73 per hour (depending on experience).
Hours: Full-time or Part-time basis. Working hours and shift pattern to be confirmed via a rota-basis. Will include weekend working.
