Job Summary
Bayliss Group is seeking an experienced Bathroom Fitter to join our growing insurance reinstatement and refurbishment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out full bathroom installations, reinstatement works, and refurbishment projects to a high standard across domestic properties.
The role will involve all aspects of bathroom fitting including removal of existing suites, plumbing, tiling, carpentry, and finishing works. Bathroom fitters typically undertake tasks such as removing existing units, installing new suites, plumbing, tiling, flooring, and coordinating with other trades.
Duties
* Full bathroom rip-outs and reinstatements
* Installation of baths, showers, shower trays, WC’s, basins and vanity units
* Wall and floor tiling
* First and second fix plumbing
* Minor carpentry works including boxing-in and bath panels
* Silicone sealing and finishing works
* Reading and working from surveyor scopes and plans
* Ensuring works are completed to insurer and customer standards
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Uploading progress photos and job updates
Essential requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ bathroom fitting experience
* Strong plumbing and tiling skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Good customer service skills
* Own hand tools
Desirable Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 Plumbing
* Multi-trade experience
* Basic plastering skills
* Experience working within insurance reinstatement
* CSCS Card
