Hipstyle Gardens is a garden design and garden care company based in South East London.
We work with residential clients on long-term garden maintenance, seasonal planting, and garden development. We are a young, creative, hands-on team passionate about building and maintaining beautiful, healthy gardens with long-lasting relationships with our clients.
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys gardening and wants to grow with the business, not someone simply looking for a temporary job. We value people who take pride in their work, notice details, care about plants, and want to be part of developing something long term.
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable, practical, and motivated Gardener to support and help develop our garden care department.
This is a physically active outdoor role involving a wide variety of seasonal gardening tasks. Over time, the right person will have the opportunity to take more responsibility, help improve systems, contribute ideas, and become an important part of the business as we grow.
The ideal candidate will have:
- practical gardening skills
- basic plant knowledge
- a proactive attitude
- a driving licence
- willingness to learn and develop
Life experience, reliability, and good communication are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive to our tool depot and clients’ gardens
- Lawn care (mowing, scarifying, edging)
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Digging, soil preparation, and planting
- Weeding and general border maintenance
- Plant care and seasonal garden tasks
- Basic plant propagation
- Using and maintaining garden tools and equipment
- Following structured task lists during garden visits
- Working independently and proactively once familiar with the gardens
- Supporting the development and organisation of the garden care department
Pay: £27,000.00-£41,500.00 per year
