Due to continued growth, Priority Waste Limited is looking to recruit a professional and reliable Driver Operative to join our expanding team.

Following successful completion of your probationary period, you'll be put through your ADR qualification at the Company's expense, allowing you to expand your skills and progress within the business.
About the Role
You'll operate a range of company vehicles from 3.5 tonne vans through to 18 tonne rigid vehicles, collecting hazardous and non-hazardous waste from commercial and industrial customers throughout the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving company vehicles from 3.5 tonne up to 18 tonne.
- Collecting hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely and professionally.
- Assisting with specialist site clearances.
- Loading and unloading electrical equipment and waste containers.
- Completing all transport and waste documentation accurately.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections.
- Working closely with our Operations Team.
- Delivering outstanding customer service at every collection.
- Working safely and in accordance with Health & Safety, Environmental and ADR requirements.
- Representing Priority Waste professionally at all times.
No two days are ever the same.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and takes pride in delivering an excellent service.
You will ideally have:
- Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum two years' commercial driving experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to the needs of the business.
Experience within the waste industry is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Applicants with driving licence penalty points may still be considered.
Physical Requirements
This is an active role and applicants should be physically fit.
The role includes:
- Manual handling.
- Loading and unloading waste containers.
- Moving electrical equipment.
- Assisting with site clearances.
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
