The Role
As a Painter & Decorator, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of decorating works within residential and commercial properties. No two days are the same, with projects ranging from occupied homes and offices to planned refurbishment works.
You will work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of internal and external painting and decorating
- Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, stripping and priming
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes and other finishes to a professional standard
- Complete works within agreed timescales while maintaining quality workmanship
- Travel to various sites across London, the M25 and surrounding areas
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and office staff
- Provide regular updates on job progress and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements and company procedures
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' painting and decorating experience
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- Strong knowledge of decorating materials, techniques and preparation methods
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
- Experience working within occupied residential and commercial properties
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Right to work in the UK
