Sapphire Windows & Doors is looking for a skilled and reliable Windows & Doors Installer / Surveyor to join our growing team. This is a dual-role position combining high-quality installation work with customer surveying and technical assessments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing uPVC, aluminium windows, composite doors, and related products to a high standard, while also attending customer properties to complete accurate surveys, identify technical requirements, and assess installation requirements.
Our work covers all of South and West Wales, with Pembrokeshire being the main area of operation. Some travel and working outside of Pembrokeshire will be required as part of the role. A company van and fuel card will be provided for business use, allowing you to operate across our service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install windows, doors, and associated products to a high standard
- Complete installations efficiently, safely, and with excellent attention to detail
- Carry out customer surveys, measurements, and technical assessments
- Identify potential installation challenges and provide practical solutions
- Ensure accurate product specifications are recorded for ordering and manufacture
- Communicate professionally with customers throughout the process
- Work independently and as part of a small, experienced team
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional approach on every job
Requirements:
- Proven experience in window and door installation is essential
- Experience in surveying and technical measuring is preferred, although training may be available for the right candidate
- Good understanding of window and door installation methods, building tolerances, and industry standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to travel throughout South and West Wales when required
