Overview
We are seeking a professional Class 2 Driver specialising in installations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and equipment to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and assisting with installation tasks as required. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 lorry for the transportation of goods and equipment to designated sites, working with a crew of 2
- Load and unload materials, ensuring securement during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
- Assist with the installation of equipment at customer sites, following specified procedures and safety guidelines.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules and any delays.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies during driving operations.
- Ensure all cargo is handled with care, respecting health and safety standards at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK.
- Experience in delivery driving, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and installation processes.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members effectively.

New class 2 drivers welcome as long as they have delivery driver experience in other vehicles
Pay: £36,000.00 per year
