Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Supervise kitchen staff during meal service, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain smooth operations.
- Manage food production processes, including ingredient prep, portioning, plating, and presentation to meet high standards.
- Oversee food safety practices by adhering to hygiene regulations, proper storage procedures, and sanitation protocols.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Lead team management efforts by scheduling shifts, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent shortages or waste.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Extensive kitchen experience with knowledge of culinary best practices.
- Deep understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on breakfast and lunch service preferred.
- Exceptional leadership qualities combined with effective communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in food serving and presentation.
