Duties
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, utensils, equipment, and storage areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware efficiently and promptly
- Ensure waste is disposed of properly and recycling procedures are followed
- Support with stock rotation, storage organization, and inventory checks
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Help with setting up dining areas and serving stations as needed during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but NOT required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Strong understanding of cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward hospitality service
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary support and food safety regulations
