Sales Assistant
Location: WJW Cwmbran Self Storage
Salary: £26,500 per annum

WJW Self Storage is a growing independent self-storage company providing secure, flexible storage solutions for domestic and business customers. We are looking for a motivated and dependable Sales Assistant to join our Cwmbran facility.
This is a hands-on role that combines sales, customer service, administration, and site maintenance. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, take pride in maintaining high standards, and be committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer enquiries via telephone, email, website, and in person
- Converting enquiries into storage rentals and achieving sales targets
- Conducting customer check-ins and check-outs
- Preparing rental agreements and maintaining customer records
- Processing payments and managing customer accounts
- Using company software systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Cleaning storage units, offices, toilets, and communal areas
- Carrying out regular site inspections
- Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring the site remains presentable at all times
- Assisting customers in selecting the most suitable storage solution
- Supporting marketing and promotional activities when required
- Opening and closing the facility as required
- Providing cover at other WJW Self Storage locations when required
Essential Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong sales ability and confidence speaking with customers
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and email systems
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong work ethic with a proactive approach to tasks
- Reliable, organised, and professional
- Flexible and willing to travel between company locations when required
- Full UK driving licence
