Job Overview
We are seeking a Reach Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Day Shift
Monday to Friday
(Flexible start time to suit - 8 hour shifts per day - Start time between 08:00 - 10:00)
Temp to perm vacancy - 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
- Ensure accurate handling of products using the warehouse management system.
- Handball and building of palletised stock to order.
- Working in a chilled and ambient environment
- Conduct regular inspections and basic repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly documented.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is essential, with a strong understanding of forklift operation and safety procedures.
- A reach license is essential and even better if paired with counterbalance!
- Previous experience working in a chilled environment desirable.
- Familiarity with equipment repair and maintenance is highly desirable.
- Proven skills in materials handling and basic maths for inventory management tasks.
