Role Overview:
To ensure all products are correctly identified, marked, inspected, and documented in accordance with customer requirements, engineering drawings, specifications, and company procedures.
This role requires an individual with exceptional attention to detail who can accurately verify product conformity, maintain full traceability through QR code systems, and ensure all associated documentation is complete and correct prior to product release
Key Responsibilities:
Part Marking & Traceability
- Apply part markings accurately and consistently in accordance with customer specifications and engineering drawings
- Verify all marking information for accuracy before application
- Ensure markings are legible, correctly positioned, and compliant with customer requirements
- Carefully cross-check part identification against manufacturing documentation and customer requirements
- Immediately report any discrepancies or uncertainty regarding product identification
Inspection & Verification
- Inspect products against customer drawings, specifications and manufacturing records
- Verify that dimensions, quantities, and identification markings match documented requirements
- Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities
- Ensure all inspection records are completed accurately and legibly Prevent the release of any product where conformity cannot be verified

Documentation Review
- Meticulously review manufacturing and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Verify material certificates, inspection records, job cards, and Certificates of Conformity against customer requirements
- Ensure traceability records are complete and correctly linked to the relevant product
- Identify and escalate any discrepancies, omissions, or documentation errors
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing and inspection environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures accurately
- Quality-focused mindset
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with quality management systems, ideally AS9100 or ISO 9001
- Ability to read engineering drawings
