We're looking for a confident and passionate Event Sales Specialist to join our Sales & Reservations Team at Bedruthan and Scarlet Hotels. You'll be the first point of contact for weddings, celebrations, retreats and corporate events, guiding guests from initial enquiry through to booking with warmth, professionalism and enthusiasm.
Combining sales, relationship building and event planning, you'll help turn guest visions into reality while driving bookings and creating exceptional first impressions. Working closely with operational teams, you'll play a key role in delivering the memorable experiences our hotels are known for.

What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as the first friendly point of contact for wedding, event and retreat enquiries.
- Building genuine relationships with guests and understanding their vision, priorities and event requirements.
- Converting enquiries into bookings through confident sales conversations and outstanding customer service.
- Leading venue show rounds that showcase the unique character and beauty of Bedruthan and Scarlet.
- Creating tailored proposals, quotations and event packages.
- Managing contracts, deposits and booking administration accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborating closely with operational teams to ensure smooth event handovers and exceptional delivery.
- Proactively seeking opportunities for upselling, repeat business and guest referrals.
- Maintaining accurate records within booking and CRM systems while staying up to date with market trends and opportunities.
About You
We're looking for a people-focused professional who combines commercial awareness with a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional experiences.
You will be:
- A confident and natural relationship builder.
- Experienced in sales, with a track record of achieving targets and delivering excellent customer service.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Passionate about events, weddings, hospitality and guest experience.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, positive and solutions-focused.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys building strong working relationships.
Experience within events, weddings, hospitality, reservations or venue sales would be advantageous. Experience using CRM or booking systems is also beneficial, although full training will be provided. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who loves connecting with people, creating memorable experiences and turning opportunities into unforgettable events.
