Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Handle janitorial tasks like trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with custodial responsibilities including restocking supplies and ensuring cleaning stations are organized and stocked
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks in specialized areas when required, including the use of heavy-duty cleaning equipment
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness by following proper procedures for handling chemicals and operating cleaning machinery
- Support residential painting or minor maintenance projects as needed to enhance facility appearance
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic!
- Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, or polishing is highly desirable
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices will set you apart
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous
- Previous porter or facilities support experience can be beneficial for understanding the scope of custodial responsibilities
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
