DNS Stones is a leading supplier of natural stone and paving products. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our Southampton branch. This role is focused on warehouse operations, helping to keep our yard and stock organised, safe, and efficient.
Mandatory Requirement: Forklift Licence
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload deliveries of stone and paving products from trucks.
- Unload shipping containers using a loading ramp.
- Move, stack, and organise stock in the warehouse and yard.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Split packs of paving and stone products accurately to fulfil customer orders.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence (essential).
- Previous warehouse or yard experience preferred.
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Good teamwork skills and a positive, can do attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
