Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the upkeep and beautification of outdoor spaces. The Labourer will work closely with experienced team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for plants.
- Participate in planting, pruning, and caring for plants, shrubs, and trees as part of landscape maintenance.
- Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas and equipment.
- Carry out general gardening duties including weeding, mulching, and soil preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
- Experience with power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers is advantageous.
- Knowledge of horticulture practices and growing techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance procedures to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks effectively throughout the day.
