We're investing in a new Clinical Physical Health Matron role because we are determined to do better in improving these poor health inequalities and outcomes for our service users. T his is an exciting opportunity to join our Adult Community Mental Health leadership team and drive meaningful improvements in physical healthcare across our services.
You'll work alongside our dedicated clinical teams, providing leadership, education and practical support to ensure physical health assessment and intervention become a consistent part of every patient's care journey.

Provide strategic and professional leadership for physical healthcare across Adult Community Mental Health Services.
Lead the development and implementation of evidence-based physical health pathways and interventions.
Ensure people using our services receive high-quality physical health monitoring, treatment and psychoeducation.
Deliver visible clinical leadership in line with the NHS Matron's Charter.
Lead service improvement, quality assurance and clinical governance initiatives.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, system partners, the South West Provider Collaborative and commissioners.
Ensure safe, effective and responsive services through effective workforce planning and staffing oversight.
Promote a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvement.
Engage patients, carers and families in the design, development and evaluation of services.
Act as a senior professional role model, supporting staff development, professional growth and excellent patient care.
Drive transformational change that improves both patient experience and health outcomes.
We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
