Are you a Plumbing & Heating Engineer looking to expand your skills into renewable technologies? We are a growing, forward-thinking company specialising in energy-efficient heating solutions for both domestic and commercial properties. We’re especially interested in applicants keen to develop within the renewables sector. While previous experience in solar thermal or heat pump systems is a bonus, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
What the Role Involves:
You’ll carry out a wide variety of skilled plumbing and heating work, including:
- Installation, inspection, testing, fault finding, repairs, and maintenance across residential and commercial properties
- Working on traditional systems as well as renewable and energy-efficient technologies including:
- Solar Thermal Systems
- Air Source Heat Pumps
- Underfloor Heating
- Central Heating Installations (including smart systems)
- General plumbing work – taps, toilets, basins, showers, water heaters
- Hot water cylinders (including unvented systems)
- Radiator and valve installations/replacements
- Heating pipework upgrades
You’ll also:
- Identify faults or defects and carry out repairs in line with health and safety practices
- Follow planned schedules or attend reactive jobs
- Maintain accurate digital job records using our software
- Work independently or as part of a team, meeting targets and supporting team goals
- Communicate professionally with clients and report any issues to your line manager
- Follow all health and safety protocols and company policies
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in plumbing and heating (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 (or above) in plumbing
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic and pride in your work
- Confident and professional when dealing with customers – great people skills are essential
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence (clean) – a company vehicle will be provided
- Able to use our job management software to log work (training provided)
- Own basic hand tools
- CSCS card and DBS check desirable but not essential

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
