ESG Group are seeking a front end Order Processing Administrator to work in our busy commercial department. Processing over 60 orders and quotes a day, confidently reading dimensions from drawings with a keen eye for detail to ensure the glass is produced with a right first time approach. Working to a KPI of at least 60 orders with a less than 5% error rating.
Salary will be discussed at Interview and dependant on experience.
Working Hours - 07.45am - 16.30pm - Monday to Thursday; 07.00am - 14.30pm Friday
The Order Process Administrator's job purpose will be responsible for:
- Order Entry – processing customer orders and quotations received via email using our bespoke software.
- Liaising with customers to ensure their requirements are achievable.
- Liaising closely with internal departments to schedule planning, production and transport in line with customer installation programmes.
- General office duties of filing and archiving
- Proactive response to answering the telephone within 3 rings.
- Enthusiastic attitude to deal with and resolve customers' queries or issues promptly.
- Proactively chase customers to resolve queries if they have not come back with a response. Ensure all verbal correspondence is confirmed in writing and the system is updated with correct information.
- Encourage and promote a positive attitude within the team.
- Maintain and grow close working relationships with internal suppliers/customers i.e. production, transport, sales team to help achieve objectives.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as and when required
