Bella House is a busy, well-loved independent takeaway serving Bangor with great food and a loyal customer base. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on manager to help run the shop and keep things running smoothly.
The Role
We're looking for someone to take full ownership of day-to-day running of the shop, including:
- Opening and closing the premises
- Managing staff rotas and supervising the team during shifts
- Cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Routine stock ordering and supplier coordination (straightforward, repeat ordering - no complex sourcing)
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout service
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues on the shop floor
- Keeping the shop clean, organised, and running efficiently during busy periods
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience managing or supervising in a takeaway, restaurant, or fast-food environment
- Confidence handling cash, stock, and staff scheduling
- Comfortable working late nights, including weekends
- A proactive, hands-on approach - someone who can run the shift without needing constant oversight
- Good communication skills and a calm, friendly manner with customers and staff
