Casa Loca is a brand-new tequila and cocktail bar opening in the heart of Manchester.
Bringing together premium tequila, handcrafted cocktails, vibrant entertainment, food and unforgettable nights, we’re looking for confident, energetic and personable Bartenders / Servers to join our opening team.
This is an opportunity to join Casa Loca from day one, help bring a completely new venue to life and become part of the team creating one of Manchester’s newest nightlife destinations.
Whether you’re shaking cocktails behind the bar, serving guests on the floor or supporting our food service, you’ll play an important role in delivering the fun, welcoming and high-energy experience we want Casa Loca to be known for.
The Role
As a Bartender / Server, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, beers and other drinks
- Taking orders and providing friendly, confident and attentive customer service
- Delivering an engaging and welcoming experience to every guest
- Learning our drinks menu and confidently making recommendations
- Supporting our on-site kitchen/food operator with food service, including delivering food to guests and clearing
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar and service area
- Handling payments and operating our till/EPOS system
- Following Challenge 25, licensing requirements and responsible alcohol service procedures
- Supporting the wider team during busy services, events and entertainment
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout every shift
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for people with personality, confidence and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Previous bar, cocktail, restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred; however, a great attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.
You’ll need to be comfortable working in a busy, high-energy nightlife environment and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
Evening and weekend availability is essential, and applicants must be available to work most weekends, including Friday and Saturday nights, as part of their rota.
Casa Loca operates under a late-night licence, meaning some shifts will finish in the early hours of the morning. Flexibility with late-night and early-morning finishes is therefore a must, so please consider your availability and transport arrangements before applying.
Hours & Contract
This position comes with a minimum 8-hour-per-week contract, with opportunities to work additional hours depending on your availability and the needs of the business.
We’re particularly interested in team members who have the flexibility to pick up additional shifts during busy periods, weekends and events.
Training & Development
We want our team to develop with us, so training at Casa Loca goes beyond simply learning the drinks menu.
Successful candidates will receive a full venue induction and opening training programme, alongside cocktail, drinks and product training.
We’ll also invest in your ongoing development through additional hospitality-focused training and courses, including areas such as:
- Conflict Management
- Cellar Management
- Cocktail and product knowledge
- Responsible alcohol service and licensing
- Ongoing operational and hospitality development
There will also be opportunities to progress within the business as Casa Loca grows.

Interviews & Start Date
Interviews will commence over the upcoming weeks, with successful candidates joining us ahead of our launch.
Our induction and training programme will begin in early September, giving the whole team the opportunity to get to know the venue, our products, service standards and each other ahead of the Casa Loca Grand Opening.
