Company Overview
Whitchurch Conservation Group is a dedicated voluntary community group in Whitchurch, north Hampshire, RG28.
Summary
Whitchurch Conservation Group is looking for students aged 15+ to carry out voluntary work experience as stewards at Whitchurch Open Air Theatre which runs from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July 2026. https://www.whitchurchopenairtheatre.co.uk/about/
Ideally, we are looking for a 2.5 hour volunteering session and in return can offer a formal written reference / Linked In reference: great for UCAS!
Responsibilities will include handing out stickers, colouring pages and pens to children and families attending the shows and collecting them to that we can create a ‘Bridge of Books’ over the River Test to celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026.
We will have already set up benches and gazebos for the shows, so the help needed is simply welcoming attendees and handing out and collecting colouring pages.
Please do get in touch and let us know which session you would be available to help with. We have a total of 6 sessions, but are asking for help with only one session.
(More sessions would be great, but one is very much appreciated!)
