Overview
We are looking for a Bakery Sales Assistant who is passionate about great customer service and loves working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You’ll be the face of our bakery—serving customers, handling cash, and helping ensure everyone leaves with a smile (and something delicious!).
Must be able to do some 6am starts and 3/4pm closes
Duties
- Serve customers with a friendly, professional manner
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Restock displays and ensure the shop looks clean and inviting at all times
- Follow daily opening and closing procedures
- Learn about our products and provide knowledgeable recommendations
- Upsell bakery items confidently after training
- Work some early shifts (from 7:30) and some late finishes (until 3/4pm) on a rota basis
- Must be able to work SOME weekend Shifts.
Experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A positive attitude and team spirit
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Flexible to work both early morning starts and afternoon closes
- Willingness to learn about our products and upselling techniques
- Previous experience in retail or hospitality is a bonus, but not essential

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
