We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Administrator to join our team at East Midlands Gateway, Derby on a 6-month secondment.
Supporting warehouse operations, you will play a key role in workforce planning, administration, reporting, and booking coordination, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operation.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Support daily warehouse planning activities, ensuring resources are aligned to operational requirements and service level targets

Coordinate employee administration, including onboarding, offboarding, attendance, overtime, and agency workforce processes

Manage inbound and outbound booking schedules, maintaining strong relationships with hauliers and transport partners

Act as a key link between planning, operations, transport teams, and external partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous experience in an administrative, planning, logistics, or warehouse support role

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data, reports, and workforce records

Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Strong IT literacy - proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills. Experience using Warehouse Management systems, ideally Blue Yonder. Smart Bookings experience is also desirable
