- Checking lodges are fully prepared and guest-ready before arrivals
- Cleaning and maintaining the café, including tables, floors, surfaces and customer areas
- Keeping staff and back-of-house areas clean, tidy and organised
- Emptying bins and carrying out general housekeeping duties
- Replenishing cleaning and guest supplies when required
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damages or missing items
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site
- Helping with general tasks around the property when required

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage their own workload
- Comfortable working at a good pace when there are multiple lodges to prepare
- Flexible and willing to work weekends
- Friendly and approachable
- Able to take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Physically fit and comfortable with a role that involves being on your feet and carrying out active cleaning duties
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, holiday-let or commercial cleaning experience would be beneficial, but is not essential for the right person
Working Hours
This is a full-time position of up to 40 hours per week, with working days and hours arranged flexibly around our lodge bookings and café requirements.
Weekend availability is essential, as our lodges require regular changeovers and the café operates throughout the weekend.
The role may involve earlier starts, later finishes during particularly busy periods, depending on occupancy and business requirements.
On-Site Accommodation
On-site accommodation may be available if required.
We have a one-bedroom apartment located on site, which could provide an ideal option for someone who is looking for accommodation alongside their employment.
Accommodation would be discussed separately with the successful candidate.
