We are a friendly, family run wine merchants and delicatessen on the edge of York. We are looking for a kitchen assistant. This is a full time role with sociable hours of 7.30am to 4pm five days per week - must be able to work Saturdays. The right candidate will have a love for good food and a high sense of pride and professionalism in their work. A positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck into all aspects of the role. Baking experience would be an advantage.

Key Responisbilities:
Prepare and cook food items according to recipes
Maintain a clean and organised work area, including washing dishes and sanitising kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety standards
Keeping track of stock levels
Help with food storage, labelling and inventory management to prevent waste and ensure freshness
Pay: £12.71-£19.87 per hour
