Overview
NE Security is currently recruiting Weekend Relief Security Guards to join our team.
We are looking for reliable, professional, and flexible individuals who can provide cover across a range of sites and duties as required. This role is ideal for experienced officers who can work confidently, follow site procedures, and maintain a strong security presence.
Duties
- Static guarding.
- Mobile Patrols.
- Locking and unlocking sites, alarm response, welfare and security checks.
- Enforce loss prevention policies by observing and intervening in theft or vandalism incidents
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including providing first aid if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes
- Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as required
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or investigations
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a security or surveillance role is desirable
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies
- Valid first aid certification is preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to complete detailed reports accurately
- Physical fitness to patrol premises and stand for extended periods
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Requirements.
- Valid SIA Licence.
- Full UK Driving Licence and own transport.
- Flexible approach to shifts and locations.
