Social Media Manager
We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy, content creation and channel growth, while managing and developing our in-house social media team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing agency and play a key role in shaping the future of our social media department. You'll take ownership of Bubble's social media presence, help grow our social media offering, support the onboarding of new client accounts, and lead a talented team of social media specialists.
The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, with a strong understanding of organic and paid social, a passion for creating video-first content, and the leadership skills to inspire and develop a growing team.

Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and leading Bubble's overall social media strategy, with a focus on growing our channels, audience and engagement
- Leading, managing and mentoring our in-house social media team, supporting their development and ensuring high standards of creativity, performance and client delivery
- Planning, creating and overseeing engaging social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Taking a hands-on approach to content creation, particularly video-first content, including Reels, TikToks and other short-form video formats
- Planning and producing content that is relevant, engaging and aligned with Bubble's brand, tone of voice and wider marketing objectives
- Managing and optimising Bubble's organic and paid social media activity, including audience targeting, campaign planning, budget management and performance optimisation
- Using data and insights to monitor channel performance, identify opportunities for growth and continually improve our social media strategy
- Developing creative campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness, engagement, reach and lead generation
- Supporting the growth and development of Bubble's social media service, identifying new opportunities and helping to shape our offering, processes and approach
- Supporting the onboarding of new social media clients, working alongside the wider team to understand their objectives, audiences and brand before developing appropriate strategies and content plans
- Working closely with our wider design, content, web and digital marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns across multiple channels
- Staying up to date with the latest social media trends, platform developments, content formats and emerging opportunities, bringing fresh ideas to both Bubble and our clients
- Exploring new opportunities within social media, including influencer marketing and social commerce
- Ensuring the social media team has the tools, processes and support needed to deliver consistently high-quality work for our clients
- Helping position Bubble as a leading social media partner for our clients
Key skills
To be considered, the successful candidate should have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in social media management, preferably within a digital, design or creative agency environment
- Proven experience developing and implementing successful organic social media strategies
- Strong experience managing paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, budget management, optimisation and performance analysis
- Experience creating and editing video-first social media content, including Reels, TikToks and other short-form video
- Strong creative skills with the ability to develop engaging content ideas and translate them into high-quality social media content
- Experience creating graphic social media content using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok, with an understanding of how content and strategy should be adapted across different platforms
- Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring, supporting and developing a team
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret social media performance data and turn insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent understanding of social media trends, algorithms, content formats and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive and commercially minded approach, with an interest in growing and developing a social media service
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues across different departments
- A genuine passion for social media, content creation and digital marketing, with a willingness to continually learn and adapt
- Experience in influencer marketing and/or social commerce is desirable
