Stefano’s Pizza is a popular, community-focused pizzeria known for great food, friendly service, and a modern, stylish atmosphere. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Server/Bartender to join our welcoming team. If you’ve got solid hospitality experience, know your way around a coffee machine and bar, and take pride in excellent service and cleanliness — we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
As a key team member at Stefano’s, you’ll be front and centre — greeting guests, taking orders, serving drinks and coffee and food, and helping maintain the clean, vibrant environment we’re known for. It’s a varied, hands-on role with a strong focus on quality service and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests, creating a great first impression
- Take food, drink, and coffee orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve meals, drinks, and coffees promptly and professionally
- Prepare espresso-based coffees to a high standard
- Mix and serve alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, and basic cocktails)
- Recommend and upsell menu items and daily specials
- Keep the dining, bar, and coffee areas clean and tidy during service
- Assist with takeaway packaging or basic food prep when needed
- Respond to guest questions or concerns in a friendly, helpful manner
- Carry out general cleaning duties to maintain our modern, chic space
- Evening shifts include toilet cleaning to ensure hygiene standards are upheld
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality or a similar role required
- Must be 21+ due to alcohol service responsibilities
- Confident in both coffee and bar service (or willing to learn quickly)
- Friendly, professional, and able to multitask under pressure
- High attention to detail, especially with cleanliness and presentation
- Comfortable with handling transactions and using a till
- Team player with a positive, reliable attitude
