Job Overview
We are looking for a professional, reliable, and proactive Response Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to incidents, supporting clients, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency call-outs.
- Carry out regular patrols and security inspections.
- Monitor premises to ensure the safety and security of people and property.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Liaise with clients, emergency services, and management when required.
- Lock and unlock premises as instructed.
- Respond to key holding and alarm activation requests.
- Identify and report hazards, security risks, and suspicious activities.
- Ensure company policies and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Support other operational teams when required.
Responsibilities
- Level 2 Spectator Safety Certificate is mandatory.
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or SIA Close Protection (required).
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behaviors or activities that could lead to theft or damage
- Maintain accurate incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records for accountability and follow-up actions
- Collaborate with emergency responders and internal teams during incidents to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and staff entering the premises
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and vandalism
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations, including administering basic first aid if needed
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for detecting suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and working collaboratively with team members
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods during shifts
- Prior experience in security or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed
Pay: £17.00 per hour
