General Gardener:
A private family run estate in Saltash requires and general all-round gardener with high standards to join their established team working with our Head Gardener - Lucy.
Duties include but are not limited to, weeding, planting, strimming, lawn care, pruning, care of machinery and hand tools. Experience of growing fruits and vegetables would be preferred.
You will be expected to have experience of garden machinery and it is also imperative that you are able to work both as part of the team and independently.
Your CV should reflect your experience primarily in gardening and horticulture.
:- Planting, water, and irrigate flowers, plants, trees, and shrubs, ornamental borders and large shrubs- Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, weeding and light pruning- Maintain the highest professional and personal standards to ensure the overall aesthetics of the outdoor spaces- Driving licence essential- Knowledge, use and care of power tools and hand tools- Knowledge of effective irrigation techniques for different plant types- Ability to follow explicit direction and instruction in order to grow and nurture plants effectively
