Edgware Piano Tutors | https://edgwarepianotutors.co.uk
We currently need teachers for 3 different catchment areas:
1) HA8 postcode and surrounding area
2) Luton
3) Borehamwood
We are particularly looking for teachers who possesses these qualities:
A child centred imaginative approach using practical methods which are focused on playing from the outset of learning. Many of the students are young complete beginners and need an early years approach to learning. Of course we also need teachers that can cater for grade exams.
We urgently need a teacher who will travel to Borehamwood for a grade 4 student
We are a professional, small local initiative, catering for the demands of the local community in Edgware and the surrounding areas of N.W London. It is our goal to match prospective tutors to interested and enthusiastic parents and students who are requesting piano tuition. We aim to provide opportunities to teach mainly in person. If the opportunity presents itself where the student requests online tuition, this may be possible, but not very likely.
Due to the nature of demand for lessons, teachers will be offered one or two students initially, then build up their student profile gradually. It would be realistic to consider the time and distance of travelling to lessons, either on the part of the student or vice versa, where teachers would be travelling to students' homes.
Unqualified candidates, unless studying music at university level, will not be considered.
We're looking for qualified, skilled music teachers who can effectively communicate and share their passion with students. Those candidates who are currently studying on a music degree programme with music pedagogy as a component will also be considered.
The Piano Teacher should be responsible for developing lesson plans that are rooted in music education practice and current with the latest pedagogical techniques.
