Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cladding Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be involved in the installation and maintenance of cladding systems on various building projects. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse sites, contributing to high-quality construction projects while developing a broad skill set in the building industry. Responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation of cladding panels according to project specifications and schematics
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Supporting welding, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and roofing tasks as required
- Heavy lifting of materials and components to ensure proper placement and secure fixing
- Reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings to facilitate accurate installation
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assisting with site preparation, including material handling and site clearance
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience or training in construction-related trades such as roofing, carpentry, masonry, or plumbing is advantageous
- Familiarity with schematics, welding, hand tools, power tools, fabrication, roofing, masonry, plumbing, and heavy lifting
- Ability to follow technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights if necessary
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
