The Role:
A strong opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor or Site Manager who comes from a hands-on plumbing / heating background and is ready to take ownership of mechanical installations on site.
You’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery of mechanical works, coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials and programme, while acting as the key link between site operations and the Contracts Manager.
Projects range from fast-track installations through to large, multi-million-pound developments, giving you plenty of variety without being tied to one type of project.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing day-to-day mechanical installations on site
- Coordinating direct labour, subcontractors and specialist trades
- Managing site workflow, productivity and quality
- Producing short-term look-ahead programmes
- Monitoring progress against project milestones
- Coordinating materials, deliveries, plant and equipment
- Attending meetings with clients, consultants and main contractors
- Managing Health & Safety and quality standards
- Resolving site issues and potential programme delays
- Supporting commissioning and project handover
Positive Signs on your CV:
- Plumbing and/or Heating trade background
- Experience supervising mechanical building services installations
- Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical services
- Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Manager experience
- Confident managing labour and subcontractors
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge
- Good understanding of programmes and site coordination
- Strong leadership and client-facing skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Comfortable with occasional travel to ROI / Great Britain when required
Even better if you have: SSSTS / SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, IOSH / NEBOSH or experience with Procore.
