Vehicle Technician – Main Dealership

£32,000 – £39,000 basic (DOE)
Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday (8:30am–5:00pm) + 1 in 3 Saturdays
The Role
We’re recruiting on behalf of a busy main dealership in Nottingham, looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 (or above) Technician who takes pride in their work, thrives in a supportive environment, and wants a stable, long-term role within a growing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to a high standard
- Work efficiently and accurately within manufacturer and dealer guidelines
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Workshop Control
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle systems and processes
- Deliver excellent service that supports customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency
- Collaborate with a team of Technicians and Apprentices while maintaining strong attention to detail
Your Background & Skills
- Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician (essential)
- MOT Tester qualification preferred
- Main dealership or independent workshop experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to work efficiently to deadlines while maintaining high standards
- Van experience is a strong bonus
