Duties
- Install new air conditioning units according to schematics, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety protocols
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, including replacing faulty components or systems
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installations and repairs
- Lead small teams during installation projects, providing guidance and ensuring quality workmanship
- Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC systems to optimize performance and longevity
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and site safety procedures
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation or maintenance
- FGAS certified, CSCS Card,
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to air conditioning systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising or guiding team members during projects
- Experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical or mechanical faults effectively
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding site safety and building protocols
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for HVAC units to ensure optimal functioning over time
