Summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant (Level 2a) to join our inspiring school community.
This role involves providing classroom support across Years 16, working alongside class teachers to support teaching and learning, deliver small-group interventions, and help ensure that all children have the opportunity to achieve their potential. The successful candidate will be adaptable, organised and proactive, with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development.

The role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across Years 16
- Working under the direction of the class teacher to support individuals, small groups and whole-class learning
- Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities
- Supporting pupils academic, social and emotional development
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Term time only
- Salary based on full-time equivalent and paid pro rata

Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ level 2 or above qualification (or equivalent)
Essential Experience
- Worked with children and/or young people.
Desirable Experience
- Experience of supporting children with special educational needs
Experience of working with or caring for children of primary school age
