Job Description:
As the Chef at Bosphorus, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes that adhere to our restaurant’s menu and standards. You’ll be tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment. You’ll play a key role in creating exceptional culinary experiences that leave a lasting impression on our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality Turkish dishes in line with the restaurant’s menu and specifications also Italian etc
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring dishes are prepared on time and to the highest standards
- Maintain and ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Manage inventory and place orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure the kitchen is always clean, organised, and well-maintained
- Monitor food waste
- Ensure consistency in food presentation and quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Passion for food, leadership, and maintaining high standards
Pay:
