We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in the organisation and mise en place of ingredients for efficient kitchen operation
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and high-quality meals
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency
- Support with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage practices
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent understanding of culinary techniques and presentation skills
- Previous experience serving or working directly with customers is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required
- A genuine passion for food, creativity, and continuous learning in the culinary arts
