Responsibilities
- Assist with category management by organizing and maintaining inventory levels across multiple product categories.
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting actionable solutions to streamline operations.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments, update records, and coordinate deliveries.
- Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatches and arrivals while verifying documentation accuracy.
- Operate materials handling equipment such as forklifts safely to move goods within the warehouse or loading areas.
- Conduct data analysis to monitor inventory levels, order accuracy, and supply chain performance metrics.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure seamless transportation and delivery services.
Skills
- Strong understanding of logistics concepts including supply chain management, materials handling, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for order processing and inventory control.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation compliance and freight coordination.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Excellent data analysis skills with attention to detail for tracking logistics performance indicators.
- Hands-on warehouse experience with picking & packing items efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Pay: £25,420.00-£34,569.88 per year
